WAYLAND HIGH SCHOOL ORCHESTRAS, WAYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS
The Wayland High School Orchestra program is comprised of String Orchestra, Honors Sinfonia Orchestra, and WHS Symphony Orchestra. The string program in Wayland begins in the third grade and is an opportunity for all interested students throughout their Wayland Public School education.
Ms. Susan Memoli is the WHS Orchestra Director and the Wayland Director of Fine Arts. Ms. Memoli is the 2011 recipient of the MA American String Teachers Association Orchestra Director of the Year Award. She is also a conductor for the Rivers Youth Orchestras and American Music Abroad Summer European Touring Orchestra. She was recognized as one of the "50 Directors Who Make A Difference" by School Band and Orchestra Magazine in the December 2014 issue.
